Terms & Conditions
1. Purpose, Status & Scope of these Terms
These Terms and Conditions are published on behalf of a group of entities collectively known as the Nova Dental Implant Centres (NDIC). Your usage of any webpage or other source of information in which these Terms & Conditions appear, or any good or service you acquire from NDIC, is subject to these Terms and Conditions, in addition to any other binding terms agreed from time to time.
You must review these Terms and Conditions before using any webpage or source of information in which they appear, and before seeking or acquiring any good or service from NDIC. If you use any such webpage or acquire any goods or services from NDIC, you will be taken to have read and consented to these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions are to be read together with any supplementary disclaimers, warnings, or other notices that appear on any material published by or on behalf of NDIC.
2. Nova Dental Implant Centres
Nova Dental Implant Centres are independently operated by AHPRA-registered dental practitioners. Clinical decisions at each practice are made solely by the treating clinician in the best interests of the individual patient. No clinician employed or engaged by NDIC uses the title “specialist” unless they hold an AHPRA-registered specialist qualification in the relevant field.
3. Publication of Advertising Material
NDIC’s landing pages and advertisements are produced by a third-party marketing agency under a commercial agreement with NDIC. NDIC places great emphasis on its legal obligations regarding advertising and will act promptly to correct any content that is not consistent with those obligations upon becoming aware of it. If you have a concern about any NOVA advertising, please contact ads@novadentalimplantcentre.com.au.
By accessing any webpage or source of information in which these Terms & Conditions appear, you acknowledge and agree that the information contained therein is general in nature and does not constitute medical or dental advice.
All advertising content is general in nature, intended for adults only, and does not constitute medical or dental advice. Before commencing any dental or surgical treatment, you should consult a qualified AHPRA-registered dental practitioner. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither NDIC nor any of its affiliates, related entities, directors, officers, employees, representatives, or agents accept any liability for any loss or damage resulting from reliance on pre-consultation information or marketing material, or any loss, damage, or claim arising from financing provided by third parties, superannuation applications, delays in approval, individual clinical outcomes, or any other breach of these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
4. Treatment & Procedure Related Information
4.1 Information Relating to Timeframes
Some material published by or on behalf of NDIC may include references to “New Teeth in 24 Hours,” “A New Smile in 24 Hours,” or similar expressions. These refer specifically to the intended delivery of provisional (temporary) teeth — in the form of a temporary fixed bridge — placed within 24 hours of implant surgery for clinically eligible patients only.
These terms do not refer to a final restoration or final outcome. Final teeth are custom-fabricated and placed at a subsequent appointment following a healing period determined by your treating clinician. Timeframes may vary due to clinical, surgical, prosthetic, or technical factors and are not guaranteed.
Not all patients are eligible for same-day provisional teeth. Eligibility is determined exclusively by your treating clinician following a comprehensive clinical assessment. Factors considered include:
- Bone density and volume at the implant site
- Overall oral health and gum condition
- General medical history and current medications
- Smoking status and other lifestyle factors
- Bite forces and occlusal considerations
- Laboratory and prosthetic planning requirements
Any reference to a 24-hour or other timeframe does not represent an assurance, indication, or guarantee that any individual patient will be eligible for same-day provisional placement.
4.2 Patient Suitability
Suitability for any procedure can only be determined following a comprehensive in-person clinical assessment by a qualified AHPRA-registered treating clinician. Clinical outcomes, aesthetic results, recovery times, and complication rates vary between individuals and no specific outcome is guaranteed.
4.3 Images, Videos & Related Materials
Patient images and videos used in NDIC’s advertising are used with written consent in a general illustrative context only. They do not depict or describe any specific patient’s clinical experience, treatment, or outcome and are not testimonials. NDIC does not use patient testimonials in any advertising or marketing material save to the extent permitted by law.
Any outcomes depicted in NDIC’s advertising are illustrative only and do not represent typical, likely, or guaranteed results. NDIC may use digital smile technology to produce simulated images for illustrative purposes only. Such images indicate a potential aesthetic direction and do not constitute a guarantee or representation of any final outcome. Final appearance may vary significantly based on clinical factors, material selection, laboratory fabrication, and the patient’s own dentition.
5. Treatment Risks
All dental and implant procedures carry inherent risks. These include but are not limited to:
In the case of Dental Implants:
- Implant failure (early or late)
- Infection, including peri-implantitis
- Bone loss around the implant site
- Nerve injury, including temporary or permanent altered sensation
- Post-operative pain, swelling, and discomfort
- Healing complications
- Prosthetic complications including fracture, loosening, or wear of components
- Requirements for additional procedures including bone grafting, sinus lifts, or implant removal
In the case of Veneers:
- Irreversible removal of tooth enamel
- Veneer fracture, chipping, or debonding requiring replacement
- Tooth sensitivity following placement
- Outcomes affected by oral hygiene, grinding habits, and long-term maintenance
- The veneers or associated procedure not being suitable for a particular patient
Your treating clinician will discuss all applicable risks, alternatives, and costs with you in detail prior to commencing any treatment. For a full list of treatment risks, visit our Treatment Risks page. Dental procedures are complex medical procedures and should be approached with a corresponding level of consideration and care.
6. Consultations
6.1 Initial Consultations
Initial consultations are provided for assessment and information purposes only and do not constitute a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, or commitment to proceed with any clinical pathway.
Nothing in any advertisement or publication by or on behalf of NDIC should be understood as a claim that any other practitioner, clinic, or practice has erred in judgment or that NDIC can necessarily provide a superior service.
6.2 Dental Implant Smile Makeover Package
Eligible patients (determined at NDIC’s sole discretion) may receive a Dental Implant Smile Makeover Package valued at $1,000. This package includes:
- A face-to-face consultation with a suitably qualified implant dentist
- A CBCT scan
- A personalised treatment plan
If provided, this package is at no charge to eligible patients, cannot be transferred, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any additional diagnostic procedures or clinical treatments recommended beyond the scope of this package will be discussed with you in advance.
6.3 Veneer Smile Design Consultation Package
Eligible patients (determined at NDIC’s sole discretion) may receive a Veneer Smile Design Consultation Package valued at $500. This package includes:
- A one-on-one cosmetic consultation with a qualified cosmetic dentist
- A comprehensive oral assessment including OPG X-ray

- A personalised treatment plan
This package is provided at no charge to eligible patients, cannot be transferred, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Eligibility is determined at NOVA’s sole discretion. Any additional costs will be discussed with you in advance.
Attending a consultation or receiving services as part of these packages creates no obligation to proceed with treatment. All treatment decisions remain entirely at the patient’s discretion.
7. Payment & Funding Options
7.1 General
References to payment plans or funding options in NDIC’s advertising or any other published material are general information only and do not constitute financial advice or a guarantee of approval.
7.2 Third-Party Finance
Payment and funding options are subject to individual eligibility, credit assessment, and the terms and conditions of the relevant third-party provider. Eligibility is determined solely by that provider. NDIC has no control over approval outcomes and accepts no responsibility for the outcome of any finance application.
For veneer treatment, payment options may include interest-free finance available through Humm and Zip Money, subject to individual eligibility, credit assessment, and the terms and conditions of those providers.
7.3 Financial Advice
NDIC does not provide financial advice. Before proceeding with any payment or financing option, you should consider seeking independent financial advice from a licensed financial adviser to determine whether the option is appropriate for your personal financial circumstances.
7.4 Use of Superannuation
Accessing your superannuation savings for dental treatment is strictly regulated by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and the Department of Human Services (DHS). Superannuation may only be released under the Compassionate Release of Superannuation (CRS) program for patients who meet specific medical and financial hardship criteria.
NDIC does not approve, influence, or guarantee superannuation applications.
Superannuation funds may only be accessed on compassionate grounds when all of the following conditions are met:
- The treatment is necessary to alleviate acute or chronic pain or to address a condition causing significant functional impairment
- The treatment is considered medically necessary and life-altering, and not readily available through the public health system
- The application is supported by medical evidence from a registered practitioner confirming the necessity of treatment, and an itemised treatment plan and quotation from the treating dental practice
Each application is assessed independently by the ATO on a case-by-case basis. Approval decisions and processing times are outside NDIC’s control.
Patients who have alternative financial means available — such as personal savings, finance, or health insurance — should use those options before considering a superannuation release. Superannuation should only be used as a last resort. Patients are strongly encouraged to seek independent financial advice before applying.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent that any such liability cannot be limited, it is limited to the amount paid to NDIC in connection with the goods or services in question. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Use of Information and Privacy
By submitting details through any NDIC form, quiz, or booking system, you consent to being contacted by or on behalf of NDIC via phone, SMS, or email regarding your enquiry. Your information will be handled in accordance with NDIC’s Privacy Policy and will not be sold to third parties. A copy of our Privacy Policy is available on our Privacy Statement page.
10. Amendments & Updates
These terms are reviewed regularly and updated from time to time, including in accordance with NDIC’s legal obligations. If you continue to use or access any advertisement, webpage, or other source of information published by or on behalf of NDIC after being made aware of these Terms & Conditions as amended, you will be taken to have reviewed and accepted them.
